Overlanding with Packboats
A regularly updated comparison table for what I consider the best touring inflatable kayaks based on the sort of boats this website covers: longer boats with room for gear paddled solo or two-up.
To aid clarity, I’ve dropped discontinued or obscure boats from the table. Links below lead to the original review or ‘preview’.
I’ve owned or own a Sunny (similar to a longer Solar), FC Java, Incept K40 Tasman, Grabner Amigo, Gumotex Seawave, and have tried a Grabner H2.
One of these days I’ll get to evaluate a full DS kayak – it ought not sag in the middle like the picture above – a Sunny from about 2006. There’s more on other IKs here.
